Dave is President of Top-Down Design Inc. and is affiliated with Vantage Wealth as an Investment Advisor Representative. With more than 30 years of investment advisory experience, Dave provides strategic consulting and is a member of the Vantage Wealth Investment Committee, where he focuses on macroeconomics and broad industry and market trends.
In addition to his financial expertise, Dave is the Director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). He previously served as JPL’s Associate Director for Strategy and Director of Astrophysics. Throughout his distinguished career, he managed the Spitzer Space Telescope project and led the team responsible for building, testing, and launching the camera that corrected the Hubble Space Telescope.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and has served on multiple philanthropic boards. He and his wife Kathy live in Glendale and have three adult children.
